My name is Franne Valle, and I’m starting this campaign for a friend I met at the 40 Days for Life campaign in Downey back in the Fall of 2019, Omar Salcedo Rios. Soon after getting acquainted and encouraged by Omar, I began my own campaign at the Planned Parenthood in South LA in the Spring of 2020. I’m eternally grateful and admire Omar’s dedication and devotion to defending the unborn. Omar began his campaign long before I did in 2017, through his campaign him and his team were able to save many lives, praise be to God. While many may face legal (unlawful) prosecution for being on the sidewalk, Omar remained firm in defending the unborn in front of FPA, regardless of the risk he could face due to his immigration status. Nonetheless, Omar stood by to defend his unborn brothers and sisters.
At the time, Omar was living in the Los Angeles area, but not too long ago, he moved to Nevada, where he stayed with his brother, where he also had work for him as a painter. Unfortunately, Omar lost his family’s support due to a family dispute, and he is also no longer employed. Since meeting Omar in 2019 and knowing he faced unique challenges with getting a stable job, he has always found a solution. This is Omar’s first time asking me for help, and I was able to provide a limited amount. I offered to start this page, and he hesitantly agreed. So I’m asking if you can help him get on his feet so he can continue to look for work by providing only enough to cover basic needs, such as food, shelter, and cover his car insurance, which he needs to avoid any legal issues for not carrying it. Omar is single and, for now, is planning to remain in Nevada. He has more family in California, but nevertheless, he would need to save enough money to move if he decided too. Will you prayerfully consider contributing any amount to help our brother in Christ?
