I am a 100% disabled veteran with 30% counted towards migraines. I do take medication, but the light triggers episodes. So much, I have a Dr’s note for my car to be at the 5% tint threshold in Oregon. It is a life saver during the summer months, but you do have to be careful at night. I currently receive medical care at the Portland VA. While the VA has its own optical shop in Portland and an Optical Fabrication lab in Idaho, they do not make sunglasses. I am trying to reach a goal of $162 so I can get sunglasses (lenses). I already have the frames, but for the shop to work on and complete the process, it costs $327. If you don’t feel like giving a penny, that is understandable. I am also on the hunt for cans in the neighborhood. I will even walk to your house to grab them. I appreciate the kindness of the community and just wanted to throw this out again after I got bullied to take it down. Everyone has their own life story and don’t always judge a book by its cover. Thank you to the rest of you who cheered me on to put this back up.
