I am a mother of four young children. I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer about 14 months ago at 38. During chemotherapy treatment, I struggled to keep up with my work demands as a registered nurse because I was always so sick after each weekly chemotherapy. I managed to complete the chemo treatment and eventually had breast surgery in October of 2022. Three days after I returned to my job in November of 2022, I was terminated for no explainable reason, and I lost my health coverage while still receiving medical treatment. I have since completed radiation this year, but I am now burdened with not only my diagnosis but also huge overwhelming bills. I need assistance to settle my medical bills and utilities bills.
