Please help Kelsey with expenses associated with cancer treatments not covered by insurance.

Hello Everyone

I am an artist (metal sculpture), craftsperson, and educator (workshop facilitator) living in our culture’s margins. As a single mom, I was not able to afford insurance for much of my child’s life, and though I have Medicare now, it does not cover all of the expenses associated with this disease. Further complications involve the fact that I live in a rural area and do not own a vehicle. Thus, I am in need of transportation to appointments. Also not covered are places to stay during outpatient treatments, copays, and any other incidentals not covered by insurance.

It is my heartfelt opinion that I have much to offer my family, friends, and our culture via my love of life and passion for passing on what I have learned. Undoubtedly, like all of us, I will one day die. However, I would prefer that the day come somewhat later. That said, I realize that I have  agency and the ability to make choices from the opportunities in front of me but the question arises “am I really in charge of the whole trajectory of my life”. I think not. I believe that I am held by the Divine who determines (in the long run) the course I am to follow. As an example, I found this fundraising platform by listening to what I consider to be clues from this Source.

As a lifelong spiritual student, the notion of living in tandem with a commitment to kindness, compassion, and generosity toward all other beings on our planet is always first and foremost on my relationship compass. Where would we be without each other? On that note I will close with this missive: I would be most grateful for any contribution toward my wellbeing and thank you most heartily in advance. And may you reap all of the benefits from helping a fellow human.

Best,

Kelsey
