Please help Kelsey with cancer treatment expenses especially the impact of chemotherapy on her teeth.
Hello Everyone–
I am an artist (metal sculptor), craftsperson, and educator (workshop facilitator) living in the margins of our culture. As a single mom, I was unable to afford insurance for much of my child’s life, and though I have Medicare now, it does not cover all of the expenses associated with this disease. Further complications involve the fact that I live in a rural area and need help with fuel and food expenses away from home during treatment and/or surgery as needed.
It is my heartfelt opinion that I have much to offer my family, friends, and our culture via my love of life and delight in passing on what I have learned. As is the case with any human, I will one day die. However, I would prefer that the day come somewhat later. That said, I realize that I have agency and the ability to make choices from the opportunities in front of me but the question arises “am I really in charge of the whole trajectory of my life”? I think not. I believe that I am held by the Divine who determines (in the long run) the course I am to follow. As an example, I found this fundraising platform by listening to what I consider to be clues from this Source.
As a lifelong spiritual student, the notion of living in tandem with a commitment to kindness, compassion, and generosity toward all beings is always first and foremost on my relationship compass. Where would we be without each other? On that note I will close with this missive: I would be most grateful for any contribution toward my wellbeing and thank you most heartily in advance. And may you reap all of the benefits from helping a fellow human.
Best,
Kaira (aka Kelsey)
