I have been given the opportunity to travel to the village of El Encinal in the country of Guatemala, this summer with my church New Life Gordonsville. My church supports this village and we have already put in a well, providing the basic need of clean drinking water, bathrooms, and a safe playground for the children of the village. This year we will be building a school. This will be my first mission trip and hopefully not my last. I have a heart of service and I especially enjoy working with children. I am excited to see what God has in store for me on this trip and how He will use my gifts and talents to share Christ’s love with the people of El Encinal. I appreciate your support no matter how small and I also ask for your prayer support. Please pray for all of the preparation before the trip, the journey to Guatemala, for the people of El Encinal that their heart’s will be open to God’s word and for my team mates and I to be prepared spiritually.
