UPDATE 06/29/2025
I was going to wait to update again until July 15th because that is when mom gets her repeat PET scan but, I have decided to share because it may help someone before that time. This is a long update so be warned (:
The update I am going to share is nothing short of a miracle. Its hard to even put into words what has happened the past 12 weeks.
As you all know, in mid April of this year, mom was given a terminal cancer diagnosis. She had been to several different doctors complaining of stomach pain, issues with bowels, severe pain in her leg and overall feeling of being unwell. She was told she had diverticulitis, UTI’s and that her leg pain was from her back. She begged for imaging but was denied and shoveled antibiotics instead. This went on for month and months. She finally was able to get a CT scan from an orthopedic doctor to look at her back. This scan revealed serious carcinoma malignancy of her ovary that had spread into her stomach lining and pelvis. This cancer is fast growing and fatal. Her leg pain was from a large tumor that was pressing on her nerves. She had several smaller tumors that were at the bottom of her lung and on her pelvic floor.
When she was sent to an oncologist in Spokane WA, he was very straight forward. He stated if she did not start rigorous chemotherapy, she will be dead in 6 months time. She asked about alternative treatments and he stated that was not an option. He also wanted to schedule her immediately for surgery to remove her ovary and the larger tumor in her pelvis that was causing her severe leg pain.
When mom left that appointment, we all felt a sense of doom, we KNEW she would never survive chemotherapy due to her extreme sensitivity of drugs. She did not want to spend the last few months of her life throwing up sick. 1/3 of people who use traditional chemotherapy don’t survive the treatment.
Now, if you know our family, you know we are very close. We all talk daily and are problem solvers, we work together to troubleshoot and this was a hurdle we knew was HUGE!
We started researching, PRAYING and talking about what other options are available. We found that there is a whole other world of cancer treatment options that are not bound under the umbrella of insurance and pharmaceutical companies. God started swinging doors open left and right to treatment centers, we found EuroMed in Phoenix, AZ
This one just happen to be a few miles from family in that area. When mom called them, she was met with the kindness and empathy from the director and head physician, Dr Dean. He listened for an hour as she pled her case, he asked for all of her imaging, biopsy and blood work and stated he will look her case over and get back to her.
We wait a few days and he called her back, he stated he prayed about her case and explained that treatment would not be easy but he felt confidant in his clinics ability to help her.
We flew her there immediately. At this point, her stomach pain/swelling and leg pain was horrible, she had to be wheel chaired through the airport. She was having issues in the bathroom, and was almost unable to eat without severe pain after.
She started outpatient treatment 5 days a week that consisted of an incredible protocol of infusion, vitamins, red light therapy, saunas, massive parasitic detoxing, and most importantly, IPT (insulin Potentiated Therapy).
This is a therapy that is based on the idea that cancer feeds on sugar so they decrease your sugar levels using insulin and when you’re in a sugar deficit, they dose you with 5% chemotherapy and a SLEW of anti cancer drugs and vitamins including Ivermectin (the dreaded “horse” dewormer that also won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2015 for use in humans) and Fenbendazole. They then bring your sugar back up to a safe level. It’s a “Hit them when they’re weak” type of treatment. The entire treatment plan is to use build your immune system up to fight the cancer.
This next part is a lot of numbers and medical terminology but its important to understand how far she has come in 12 weeks.
There are several different blood tests that determine cancer cells and tumors. Here are the 2 important ones that are used for moms type of cancer, several are used in conjunction with there but these are the main 2.
CA 125: This test is an ovarian cancer biomarker used to diagnose and determine treatment efficacy.
HE4: This test is used to monitor progression of the disease, amount of cells and efficacy of treatment.
RESULTS TIME!!!
On April 23rd. Moms CA-125 was 600, normal range is 0-35.
On 06/23/2025 mom level was 14!!!!! This is AMAZING!
On April 15th, Moms HE4 was 1786. The normal range is 0-70 for premenopausal women and under 140 post menopausal women.
on June 23rd, moms HE4 went from 1786 to 57!!!!!
What does this mean? It means that ZERO cancer cells are detected in her blood at this time!
Update on her well being.
Mom is dong well, this last 2 months, she has worked incredibly hard in her fight against this awful disease. She has had good days and bad days but overall has been able to maintain with minimal side effects compared to traditional treatment. Her leg pain is GONE and so is the swelling in her stomach. Her appetite is up and the post eating pain is gone. She is feeling over all better. She has met so many friends along the way too and has been able to minister to people who are at the lowest point in their life. She is even passing out Bibles to both patients and employees at the cancer center.
Moving forward, mom has a PET scan in 2 weeks. The cancer center would prefer her to stay in AZ for the next 4 weeks but unfortunately, we are out of resources at the moment, they are okay with her taking 2 weeks off and getting her scan and then making a recommendation on just how many more treatments she will need.
As we all know, if cancer cells linger and return, they can become resistant to future treatments, this is the worst case scenario and we are not taking that chance. We know for sure that she will need another 4 IPT treatments (they are $2500 a piece). She will fly home tomorrow, take a little break, get her scan then fly back for a few more weeks of treatments.
We are so hopeful and confident that her scan will show a massive decrease in cancer or even better, no cancer at all.
We want to send a special thank you to this who have donated to help us take care of our mother. She is overwhelmed with gratitude. To Brian and Taren who have opened their home and cars to our family and have shown true selflessness through hospitality and kindness. May the Lord bless you guys!
If you feel led to help our fight to the end, we are forever grateful. If you would like to donate through Venmo, you can send money direct to @sonja-vetsch or direct message me in Facebook.
Lastly, we want to thank God for His healing power and hand in all of this, He truly is the Ultimate Healer and we have seen and felt His presence in every step.
The picture I just posted was taken yesterday of Mom and Les, they were celebrating their anniversary 35th that’s on June 30th!
We have INCREDIBLE updates!!! 05/25/2025
We are all elated to see the first two of 3 cancer blood tests come back VERY GOOD!!!
It appears that all of mom’s hard work the last 6 weeks has been working!! We are still waiting on the last test and she will need to repeat a PET scan after 90 daysys of her last scan (that was in the beginning of April).
She has received impeccable care at Euro Med and our family is full of hope now than ever! Praise God!!
She is still in treatment every day and with the help of so many friends, family members, acquaintances and even selfless strangers, we have had almost all of her treatments this far covered which is so amazing.
Moving forward, she is not finished yet. We are waiting for the final results and plan on how we move forward in the weeks to come. We know she will need more treatments but dont know exactly how long.
We are once again asking for support and continued prayers !!!
If you would like to give directly, PM me.
Thank yoy all so much and thank God for your never ending faithfulness.

Week 5 update! 05/13/2025
Mom is doing good this week, she had some minor setbacks last week as we had to pause her infusions due to low WBC (this is very common while enduring treatment). She received some medications to help raise those numbers and will restart infusions tomorrow.
As for the over all treatment process, she is doing good. We are hopeful her upcoming scan and blood work will reveal progress against this disease. Les is there with her and we are making arrangements for her to possibly stay in Phoenix for the month of June. We are still short for our financial goals and are continuing to ask for donations big or small. Our family is working daily on making sure she has everything she needs. Thank you SO MUCH for your prayers and contributions!!! Mom is beyond grateful and humbled by this process.
Update on mom: 4/29/25
Update on our momma!
She is done with treatment number 5, she will need 3 more and then retest her cancer levels and a scan a little later after that to see how well she is responding to treatment.
So far, this has been nothing short of a miracle. If you know my mom, you know she doesn’t tolerate medications well and is sensitive to most things.
By the grace of God, she is fighting this battle with strength she didn’t possess before we got here.
She has made friends with EVERYONE here 😂 and spends her treatment time talking a praying with fellow cancer patients.
Thank you for your ongoing prays and support!!!! We are forever grateful 🥹
Week Two is down!
We met with the board of physicians and went over her treatment plan, what to expect in the weeks to come and potential results.
They are all so knowledgeable and kind. They use a variety of holistic, alternative and conventional treatments that are very effective. The goal is to treat the body as a whole and build up her immune system to fight cancer instead of chase it with hard drugs that kill both the cancer and the immune system.
So far, she Is tolerating the treatment very well. The facility is top notch!
She will need to complete the entire 5 weeks and retest to see if her numbers a s scan are responsive to treatment and go from there. We are hopeful .
Again, we cannot thank you all enough for your prays and financial support, we are not to goal yet and appreciate every single donation more than you know.
Onward and upward!
- UPDATE: Week one down!
Mom did so good last week, her port is working well, she had a PET scan today and more bloodwork. We were pleased to find out her kidney and liver are functioning properly. She is doing well, but extremely fatigued. She’s doing her best to answer phone calls, and messages, when she’s not in treatment, she is usually sleeping. We have a full week ahead, I (Sonja) will be taking over for our wonderful brother Isaac on Wednesday. I will keep you updated as much as I can this week. Thank you all for your donations, thoughts and prayers.
Update day 3:
It was a long day full of testing, blood work, IV oxygen therapy and visits to surrounding hospitals for ultrasounds.
She will have a port put in tomorrow, this will give easier access to IV therapy. She is very tired but still fighting and hopeful. We are still needing funding for the duration and are so thankful for what God has blessed us with this far. Thank you for your prayers and support.
Update Day 2:
Treatment went well today, lots of therapeutic activity. Mom is fatigued but in good spirits. We are hopeful this first week will be smooth. Lots of prayers needed. Thank you again to everyone who have called, texted and donated!
UPDATE: DAY ONE
first day of treatment down, she tolerated it well. everything from low-dose intravenous chemotherapy to pmolotov cocktail of anti-cancer protocol. Her schedule this week is a medical extravaganza. We pay as we go daily, we had multiple unforeseen costs of vitamins and supplements as well.
Thank you everyone for your help so far!!!
As most of you know, our mother, Pamela Naderhoff was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in March 2025. She has 9 children and almost 17 grandchildren that are not ready to say goodbye.
The prognosis is very grim with traditional treatments and without. Chemotherapy is not something she could have endured at this time.
She has decided to try and fight this horrible disease with alternative cancer treatments and has been graciously accepted into the Euromed Foundation Cancer Treatment Center in Arizona. After reviewing her charts and imaging, they have given us something that we have not yet felt and that is HOPE.
We are all so grateful and blessed to have this opportunity. It will be 30-45 days of rigorous treatments, she will be staying with family in AZ. She starts treatment on Tuesday, April 15th.
UNFORTUNATELY, the treatment is not covered by her insurance, the cost is $7,500 a week and she will need 4-6 weeks of treatment. This is a small price to pay for our mother’s life.
We will know shortly after starting if she is responding well. The physicians on staff have been very encouraging but also realistic. This is a very aggressive and fast moving cancer, so starting now is imperative.
Our family is coming together to help her fight, we will be taking turns being with her and helping with care. We are asking for financial assistance with this treatment and will be updating everyone throughout the entire process. Every penny will go directly to her treatment. This is also a tax write off so keep your receipts!
As always, prayers are always needed, if you can’t give, please continue to pray. We serve a mighty God who is the ultimate healer!
Forever grateful for all of your love and support we also appreciate the outpouring of love and support from friends, family and even strangers during this difficult time.
