I was admitted to the hospital on July 13, 2026, with a mass on the head of my pancreas and on my liver. I was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer metastasizes to liver. I am a senior on a fix income and is unable to pay these fees that are coming at me. I received my chemotherapy every two weeks. I wear a pump for 48 hours and have the pump disconnected on Friday of that week of my treatment. My cancer markers numbers are coming down which shows that the chemotherapy meds are working. I am caring for my two cousins who I have been raising since they were 3 and 4 years old. they are now 16 and 17 years old. It’s been 13 years since together and its my dream to see them become independent. I would appreciate what help I can get. I am 70 years old retired nurse who have taken care of those who were unable to care for themselves. I thank God that I am symptom free. All donations will be used to pay for my medical bills. I never thought I would be dealing with such an illness like this. The Doctors are telling me I have a blood clot in my lung and blood clots in my lower extremities. I am now on blood thinner which I take every day twice a day. My support system is very strong with family and friends being at my side when needed. I have always been there to help others when they need nursing care and now this is happening to me. I still try to continue to do for myself when it comes to activities of daily living. There are times when my body tells me that it’s time for me to take a break and I do. I don’t overdo it and listen to my body when it tells me to rest. I hope to still be able to do the things I like to do. My mind set is very positive and I know that I can beat and overcome this illness.
