need a helping hand not a handout

My husband and I have a 16 year old son that just had open heart surgery in Chapel Hill NC on January 4th my husband has been unable to work so he could be there for our son. He is an awesome dad and our only source of income. We have 5 other children and a grandchild that we are raising. This has put us in a financial bind and we need help paying our bills until he gets back to work. My son is still in the hospital as of today January 8 2017 and we have used what little money we had to purchase gas to drive back and forth 2 hours each way to check on our other children and their caretakers. I am not asking for a handout only a hand up then I will donate to another needy family through this website if someone finds it in their heart to help my family.
