Hello, I am Carla Welch I am 57 years old and work for Hallcon transporting train drivers back to their vehicles. I started this job 2 months ago. I have recently been told I have to move. I was married for 29 years we had one son, I took care of my husband for the last two years of his life when our Heavenly Father said It was time for him to return to him. My husband was Randy I have never remarried nor dated anyone. My heart is still with him.
5 years after Randy and I got married we bought our trailer home and paid cash. We rented property to place it on for 200.00 a month. 2 years later I had Jr. our son. Randy and the property owner were good friends like brothers. In 2006 When Randy passed away with cancer. The property owner had his daughter come over and wanted me to visit as well. The property owner, his wife, and daughter were all sitting at the table when I was told by the property owner that when he died or his wife whoever was last I was to have the land I was living on years later the wife died and just 3 years ago the Mister passed away. His daughter suggested that I go ahead and start looking for a place to put my mobile home, I waited a few days to remind her of her dad’s wishes. She assured me she would let me know. The next day she had a letter delivered from the constable requesting I move, went to court judge gave me 30 days to be moved.
Since Randy passed away in 2006 I have allowed My mother who is no longer living, my stepmom after my dad passed away for 4 years. My cousin Tina while she was going through a divorce, and my niece helping her get off of drugs and getting her 2 girls from protective services, along with my older Brother and his wife. after his heart attack, they lived with me for five years and I took care of him and took him to his doctor until he got his disability. He and his wife moved out about a year before the property owner passed away. Now I am staying in the home that has been in the family for over 50 years. Tina rented the house to me just 4 months ago. She just asked me to find another place to live she is selling the house, I have til October 9th, 2023. I have spoken with Tina and other family members and everyone agrees on her selling this place. I live paycheck to paycheck. I have nothing saved at this time.
