Hello! My name is Dawn and I am so excited to go in my very first missions trip to Belize this October with Redemption City Church! We are going to Punta Gordy, in Southern Belize. We will partner with a couple from Texas who have lived in Belize for more than 20 years! Looking to raise enough to cover the basic cost of the mission trip. We will be going door to door and praying over people during the day and holding a VBS for the kids in the afternoon. The main goal is to create relationships so we can share the gospel with them. I am so excited to serve the Lord by helping in any way I can. Besides financial support I would love your prayers as well! Please pray for guidance with those going on the mission trip and for open hearts for those we will be reaching out to. Praying for the Spirit to make way and for us to gain hearts for the Lord. I would also love to hear any stories or testimonies of people who have experience with going on mission trips. This being my first I have an nervous excitement that needs some seasoned experts to glean from! I feel unqualified to go but know that God equips those who are willing. Praying for all the willing hearts! We have and amazing couple the Barnette’s who will be leading our group. They have Been to Belize over 35 times on mission trips. They are such a wealth of knowledge and experience. Could you pray for them as they go back for the first time since the pandemic started? I know they are so excited to return. We are all part of the great commission and I have been so happy yo help others go and spread Gods word. Really ready to go myself! Thank you so much for all the help and prayers!
