For the last few months I have been experiencing some medical issues that are preventing me from working, issues involving heart arrhythmia and dysautonomia. I have spent too many hours in emergency rooms, hospital rooms and doctor offices to count. I have a great team of doctors, but my insurance is making it difficult for me to get one of the procedures I need and it is delaying my recovery. My doctors are filing appeals with my insurance company, but it’s a time consuming process. It’s hard to ask for help, but things are getting very difficult for me and I could use some help with medical debt, keeping my medical insurance and day to day needs, like keeping my home. I have filed for disability, but it will be 209 days before they make a decision and even then it often requires an appeal. Tim is looking for part time work that will still allow him to continue to care for our grandchildren, (we have three now!) so that their lives can stay relatively normal. I am hoping to get well and return to the work I love at some point, I just don’t know when that will be yet. So I’m reaching out for help.
