I was helping someone that is disabled for free as they couldn’t afford to hire someone and I burned my leg trying to help someone out. I probably shouldn’t have been doing what I was but I saw someone in need and no one else was stepping up so I did. I have always been the person that would give you the short off his back and try to be the one that was there when you needed help or a friend. Insurance didn’t cover all the cost I’ve occurred in medical bills for this burn.
Second … I was diagnosed with stage 3 lung disease, I need an inhaler to be able to breathe, the inhaler I need is $600.00 a month and my insurance will not cover this. They will cover an inhaler but my lung disease is progressing and the inhaler they are willing to cover doesn’t work. I have worked and been on my own since I was 16 years old, never asked for help of any kind, paid my bills, and if I didn’t have money I earned it, or I went without. I’m at a point in my life where I can’t work anymore, and my retirement hardly covers living expenses. I’m just asking for help with medical bills as it’s going to collection if I don’t pay the medical bills. I do have proof of my medical expenses and can show this is real. My wife is disabled, she was raped and left for dead several years ago and is on 8 different medications which we have to pay for. Everything was ok until I ended up in the hospital and incurred medical bills. Also because of my lungs and her disabilities, we are unable to work unfortunately or I would.
