I recently lost my job and was admitted to Gulf Coast Hospital due to a stroke and seizure. I spent 7 days in ICU and step down. I need funds to help with medical bills and daily expenses until I can get well enough to find another job. I also lost my insurance so my medications and doctors visits are very expensive.
I also have Lukemia and my medication for that without insurance is over $9,000 per month(that is not a misprint).
We also lost our home, and my truck broke down in the hospital parking lot while my wife was visiting me, so that needs repairs that I haven’t had the chance to get an estimate for. Until then we have no transportation and are having to use Uber to get around.
Any consideration is greatly appreciated. My wife and I are currently living in a camper in an RV Park. I know once I get well I will be able to find a new job with insurance, we are just struggling now until I can get well enough to start working again. We just need enough to get by for at least a couple of months for food, doctors appointments, and medications(including my wife’s).
My savings are rapidly depleting. My family has been helping out as much as they can, and they have been a tremendous help. But they have their own bills to pay as well, so I need some form of funding to assist us.
