As some of you know we got the call for the kidney, and we took off and drove to Albq. Had labs and all kinds of test done and everything was looking good. What we didn’t know was that I was the 3rd back up for the kidney, but the other 2 that where ahead of me made it and all was good with them, so they received the transplant and not I. We are both disappointed, but we know that it’s all good, it will happen, and it will happen soon. Yes, I have a donner, but he is getting up there in age and having health issues and so is his wife and I don’t want him to get any worse trying to help me. But anyway, the doctor did reassure us that I am at the top of the list and that I will have a transplant before that year is over. So, we will get a call again anytime and it will be my turn Thank You Lord!!!!!!! So, we need help to pay for a hotel for my husband to stay in while I’m in the hospital and for 6 to 8 weeks after, money for other things like gas, food etc… This run was kind of a trial run for us we know what to do and what not to-do, we know what we need to make sure is packed and ready to go at any given time. I know times and been hard for a lot of people and I want you all to know that I feel ya and I want to thank all of you that have donated the last time I tried this and any and all of you that help now, we know that it is a go at any time now and we still have the $600.00 that we received like time, but still need so much more .
