My name is Leticia Gaytan. My husband Jose Arizmendiz was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer back in July 2026. He was hospitalized for 1 week and released with further appointments scheduled. We also had an appointment where he got the news of the cancer in his body. His cancer starter in his lungs then spread to his ribs, hips, bones and brain. But then in August he got very sick and I brought him to the emergency room and once again he was kept for 1 week. This time he had a lung infection. During his stay he had a chemotherapy done. We are Christians that believe God will heal him and we have faith God has a purpose for him. He has not been able to return to work since his job is heavy; he has done construction work for over 20 years. I myself ask for a personal medical leave (unpaid) at my job to take him to his doctor’s appointments. His cancer is not curable but it can be controlled with medication for many years. I keep track of all his medication. He is taking morphine, Alzheimer’s, blood clot, antibiotics, cancer pills. His radiation treatments start Sept.24 and it will be 10 continuous. At the hospital he received chemotherapy and today Sept. 10 he got his second one. We have met very nice people either at the hospital and his clinic treatment, they are very helpful and explain patiently since it is a lot to process. Once again we gladly appreciate any donations.
