John has Stage IV (4) Metastasis Espohageal cancer which has now spread to his abdominal area & lymph nodes.
In John’s recent blood testing, DNA & markers have been found that do identify the source of John’s type of cancer. This testing is not commonly used by Dr’s in WI were John lives. In the western states CA, AZ John has found much more individual effective care since 8/2020 when he was first diagnosed with Espohageal cancer. His Dr’s focused on the root cause and attacked the hormones and mutations that caused John’s cancer to begin with.
For the last 3 years, John has been fired from his job, forced to pay large insurance premiums every month that are equivalent to a nice size house payment. This insurance coverage helps with a good amount of medical costs, however, it has limitations. Our savings are long gone considering the large insurance monthly outgo plus daily living expenses.
Physical possessions mean nothing when a life is on the line.
Unfortunately, the medical treatments most effective for John includes 5 different RX pills monthly, DNA testing & progress tests are all out of pocket not covered by John’s medical insurance.
This treatment has had excellent results for remission for John. His fight is now 3 5 years!!!
To know there is treatment & medicine out there to save John’s life and to have so very limited resources to fight his fight & win is disappointing & painful.
I have been John’s biggest supporter as his wife of 35 years in 2024. I would do anything to get John help to fight this dreaded disease & win! Please help John fight!!
John is a son, husband, father of 4 sons, father-in-law, & Papa to 4 fur babies. He is also a brother, uncle & good friend to many.
John has helped many causes, people in need without hesitation.
