I am a 54-year-old male with multiple health ailments and was just fired from my job. I have no income coming in and am fighting to get on disability with my attorneys. I am on the brink of homelessness because I was recently in the hospital for being Septic and was very ill. My employer did not hold my job, and I had just started this new job. I was served eviction papers today Friday April 18. I have worked in health care for 34 years plus and worked through Covid. Now I am in need of a little assistance to try to get back on my feet. I have been living in the Arizona area for three years now, moved here with my service dog which I may need to get rid of if I can’t get enough donations to help cover my current rent. I am on the list for state assistance but that takes time. My house is also, in desperate need of food as I am a type two diabetic. I have never asked for help before because I have always been able to handle things on my own. However, after this bout of being in the hospital and losing my job, I am in a really tough bind. I am still on heavy antibiotics to help recover from being septic with a possible return date to work mid-May if my work restriction could possibly be lifted but I don’t think that they will, until then I don’t know what to do or how I am going to do it. All I ask is that i get some assistance till next month to give me more time to think about what to do and hopefully get some assistance from the state. I am nowhere near in good enough health to pack up and move. I have helped others for all my life in my career and on the side taking care of my family who is now all passed on and friends. I am in need of help now and just would like to know that the good lord is here to help me when I am down.

All I am asking for is help from those I may have helped or could have helped in my nursing career. I’m not one to beg but as of next week I will be homeless. Anything that you can contribute would be very helpful and put to good use. I have spent my entire life helping others and now I am the one needing help.
