Jason Warbainy’s journey so far.

In March of 2022, Jason (Jake) was not feeling well. His knees were swollen, and he started to get a bad cough. Without insurance at the time, he went to the free clinic, and they did a chest X-ray to see what the issue might be. A few days later, his cough worsened, and he was coughing blood, so we rushed him back to the doctor; they ordered a CT scan and an Echocardiography. He went for a follow-up at the beginning of April for test results, and they concluded it was Pneumonia. The doctors wanted to follow up in 3 months and do another X-Ray for comparison. Over the next 3 months, Jason slept more than normal, and his appetite decreased noticeably. And his cough continued to worsen, and his knees continued to swell, making it difficult for him to walk. At the beginning of August, he had another X-ray that showed that the mass in his left lung had to continue to grow. Two days later another CT scan and three days a Lung Biopsy confirmed Lung Cancer in his Left Lung. He has since had a Genetic Biopsy, Brain MRI and PET Scan done. He saw the Oncologist for the first time on 21Sep2022 and it was determined he has Stage 4 Cancer and they will start a treatment plan with Chemotherapy.

Shauna and his family are very proud of him to quit this difficult addiction.

With what Jason and his family are going through with his medical condition, he will be out of work for what might be a long period of time, and his medical bills and normal household bills are going to start adding up. We are asking for donations of any size to help ease some of these bills. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated. On behalf of his whole family thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for any help you may offer.
