  1. I’m a very independent 69 year old women so this is difficult for me to ask for help! I guess after the shock of being diagnosed with breast cancer you experience numerous emotions but probably the biggest one is survival! My soul mate passed away from covid in February 2021 and even though I still grieve for him the biggest shock was how his family took everything and left me struggling financially. I am on a fixed income and worked part time before the breast cancer but now I am unable to work as much and my day to day expenses are harder to maintain. I’m asking for help with my medical bills I do have some insurance through Humana but currently owe $1500  I was diagnosed with Paget’s disease breast cancer and had a mastectomy in February 2024 with breast reconstruction Unfortunately the reconstruction did not turn out as expected and July 16 I had fat transfer to my left breast. I have never felt that my breast’s defined me as a women but their appearance at this time makes me feel like a freak. I came across this web site and it gave me hope that maybe their is help for me. I have been unable to get a personal loan due to past credit issues and have no place to turn to I would appreciate any financial assistance available . I have a small house and own a older 2004 car and feel blessed that I can afford that but I need current help with my electrical bill I am several months behind and with my cell phone expenses. I have internet but have canceled tv services because I can’t afford them. I stated before that I have medical expenses and possibly two more reconstructive surgeries. Thank you for any assistance!
