Friends, Jamie, Needs Our Support.
In late September of 2023, Jamie was diagnosed with stage four colorectal cancer that’d spread to his liver and abdominal lining, thankfully the cancer has responded to treatment and he’s been blessed with achieving a complete response. However, this isn’t a cure and like a diabetic he’ll need lifelong treatment.
Those who know Jamie know he has a good heart, and he is selfless, hard-working, honest, and compassionate. Jamie is a proud father of our son Nicholas, 5, and our daughter Natalie, 2, whom are his biggest supporters.
Together with the support of family and friends, Jamie can and will continue to beat this.
Unfortunately, a large part of our income has always been generated from Jamie, and that has been cut drastically. I work as much as possible, however the need to care for my family has taken its toll on our income. The loss of the majority of what was our main income, as well as, the reduction in mine has been and will continue to be financially devastating at times with mortgage payments, monthly living expenses, medical costs, and our children’s needs, etc.
The past year has been extremely challenging, emotional, and terrifying at times for us. The outpouring of love, emotional support and prayers from family and friends has been very deeply appreciated . I am looking to continue lessening the financial burdens we are facing so that Jamie is able to focus on him and not on being unable to work. A donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated.
It is difficult for Jamie to reach out for help as he is typically the one offering support versus asking for it. Jamie has not been able to work since October and has went from long term disability to SSI, we realize we’re up against a long and expensive journey. Your donations will help with past and future expenses. If you are not in a position to donate, please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
Also, please notice that all donations via givetaxfree.org is tax deductible if you itemize your tax deduction. You will receive a tax donation letter upon contribution.
