f you’ve ever faced health challenges, then you know that life is a precious gift and any day you experience vibrant health is a blessing. I’ve recently received another breast cancer diagnosis, which is heartbreaking news. I’m “not a candidate for chemo or radiation” so I’ll need to pursue alternative methods that are not covered by health insurance. Also, I don’t tolerate the various drug treatments, even the off-label variety. This is not my first diagnosis. I’ve used alternative treatments before with great success, but I tore through my savings doing it. I am confident that the treatment will give me a chance to regain my health and live with dignity. I wish that our country recognized more comprehensive approaches to illness, then my expensive insurance would cover it, and more people could afford the treatments they need. In Europe they call this approach Biological Medicine, and it is standard of care in Germany and other countries, but not in the US.
