Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT) for breast cancer treatment. This is my second cancer go around. I wouldn’t be so concerned except I have a child. Previously I found I had DCIS while serving in the US Army, however then, surgery was easy, I had a lumpectomy, minor radiation therapy and then went on with my life. Recently, I found another lump which resulted in a mastectomy with lymph nodes removal and post-op reconstruction. My signatera was clear however now came back with a ctDNA positive result.
I have insurance and the only provided treatment through them include estrogen blockers that have negative and health-detrimental side effects (both experienced and potential based on family medical history).
The initial 4 week IPT treatment would cost approximately $40,000. Then it is evaluated for response to the treatment for further and/or continued treatment. I learned more from the initial consult with the Phoenix Based entity than I ever did with doctors who conducted the mastectomy and post op treatment. There were things not told to me (maybe they think I don’t’ need to know) and options not previously presented to me (likely because big pharma won’t cover treatment that allows one to be well and conduct maintenance only treatment)
To be honest I am not even sure how this platform works but I thought I would try it. I know the amount is a lot however, I am planning, if I can reach the goal to attend four weeks and planned for the worst either additional weeks or maintenance treatment. Thank you to any and all who can help especially in these financially tough times.
