Jack P. Glecier of Orland Park, IL. passed away on November 17, 2021. at the age of 91. He was born on March 29, 1930. He graduated from Calumet High School in Chicago, IL. He worked at Glecier and Sons on 95th Street in Evergreen Park. Jack spent countless hours building up the family business alongside his wife Florence and other family members. Jack was actively involved in The National Guard for the Army of the United States. He was a marksman. Jack was signed to the Philadelphia Phillies as a major league baseball pitcher. Jack is survived by: Wife Florence Glecier, 3 children: Jack Glecier Jr. & Wife Tina Glecier, Nancy Leisen and Ann Marie Markle & husband Randy Markle. 5 grandchildren: Jennifer Chiappetti, David Leisen, Christine Hill, Justin Markle, and Lauren Markle. Also 8 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Christ Hospital nurses and Smith Crossing Rehab Facility for the care and compassion they showed our loved ones in their final days.

Jack has touched the lives of many with his knowledge and wisdom. He was a remarkable man who touched the hearts of many and will never be forgotten. He achieved so very much in his 91 years of life and family and friends are so very proud of him.

Until we meet again: We think about you always, we talk about you still. You will never be forgotten. We hold you close in our hearts and there you will remain. To walk and guide us through our lives, until we meet again.
