On the 29th of February I was in a fatal car crash. Essentially, there was a stationary car with no hazards on in the fast lane and me and my partner were driving at night and hit them at 70mph.
My side of the car then crushed in, which meant that the car had crushed on top of my legs and completely fracture/broke both my femurs. The airbag collapsed my lungs and the seatbelt ripped part of my stomach out. Then I was stuck in the car unable to move as it set on fire. A random lorry driver luckily beat my door in and saved me, I was then on the side of the motorway nearly dying with an internal bleed in my stomach until I was air ambulanced to hospital.
I then had multiple operations on my stomach which rebuild my stomach and my bowel, and also had metal rods and nails put in my thighs as my bones were completely crushed. I then was put in a coma for days.
I have now been stuck in hospital for over six weeks, and learnt to talk and eat all over again, finally got all my tubes out and now going to rehab to learn to walk again.
My brother is running a marathon for me to fundraise money, this money will go towards a new bed as I now may need a special bed🙃, my car payments that I’m now paying for an exploded car and to replace all the belongings in my car I.e. my phone, clothes, makeup, passport…(as me and my partner were travelling to his family home for the weekend)
