I want to believe that with billions of you out there, there must be enough people to spread this and give enough to help just 1 person succeed at living and raising a family. We have had massive power failure thats taken out nearly $1,000 in appliances. We have struggled to keep a working vehicle thats easily costed over $2000 more than was thought when the nearly 50 year old thing was bought running and it is close but still not there yet and will still be questionably reliable even when it does. School expenses are hitting, life necessities and food add up, and while everything is kept clean and in as good of order as possible, just monthly lease and power wipe out nearly everything I get and the lease is already 1/5th the lowest elsewhere thanks to an over 80 year old member of the family owning the property. There is little if no room for much more than barely staying afloat and even doing all I can, I cant help but feel inadequate.
This isn’t a campaign for riches. As I’m sure you all know, the amount requested will do little more than secure a modest home, a inexpensive vehicle, and a few years of security at best.
Its less than wealthy people throw away in a day and not even 1 out of every 180,000 people of the population contributing $1.
My theory is that these odds will either confirm how awesome a few people are or confirm that enough people are good enough to show humans are not completely hopeless.
The return?
You will be saving a disabled step father from worrying about the future of his family and himself not being good enough because there is simply no way to afford a home without the kindness of a very elderly man allowing us a place for the time being. You will secure a future for me and my two young boys that isn’t threatened by a potential expiration date. You will help raise them to have better opportunities and even help me with recovery and stability.
The funds will buy a permanent home, transportation, essentials, and help with bills. This will give us a window of comfort long enough to not worry about the future and hopefully give me enough extra to manage bringing in additional income as now I am sacrificing many things and suffering just so neither of my kids have to.
So, when it takes just 1 right person or a handful of people out of billions to offer enough or spread the word enough to make this successful, lets see if I have any reason to believe. One person with far more than they need, buying some good karma or many people with a like mind or big enough hearts to buy the whole world some karma. What is humanity worth?
