Friends and coworkers of August! August is in need of our help! August is someone who would help anyone in need. She is hard-working, holding down two jobs to provide for herself and her son.
August was hit head-on by another driver on her way home on Friday, January 19, 2024. August sustained a broken ankle and wrist. Her ankle required extensive surgery. Her son sustained a broken leg that also required surgery. August’s son was released from the hospital, but August is still in the hospital at the medical center. Her vehicle is totaled, and she will need to purchase a new one when she is released to drive. She has sought out an attorney to help with her case. August is not sure when she will be released as she faces another surgery and physical therapy. August is hoping soon to be transferred to a rehab closer to home in Katy. With all of this August is very anxious about paying her rent, bills, and medical expenses. She has a few remaining days to use, and she is very worried about keeping her apartment at the moment. Every little bit will help August and not have her worry about the expenses and just her recovery! August very much wants to get back to work and to see everyone, but it is looking like a long road to recovery. She misses everyone. She is thankful for her coworkers who have stepped up to help with keeping up with all that is required.
