Our family is heartbroken as we prepare to say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, Pam, who has been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. We are raising funds to help cover her funeral expenses and to allow her children to take the time they need to be by her side in her final days.
Pam has fought incredibly hard throughout her life. After beating breast cancer 10 years ago, she and her family worked tirelessly to make sure she had the best coverage possible. Even with all their efforts, her life insurance will only pay out just over $3,000, which unfortunately is nowhere near enough to fulfill her final wishes.
Pam’s request is simple but deeply meaningful:
She wants to be laid to rest at the cemetery in Chesterton, near her parents and brother. Honoring this wish means so much to all of us.
Her husband, who is 78 years old, still works full time just to maintain their health insurance while battling his own serious health issues and relying on 2 liters of oxygen. This has placed an unimaginable emotional and financial strain on the family at a time when they simply want to focus on loving Pam and being with her.
We are hoping to raise $10,000 to cover funeral services and related costs, and to give her children the time they need to be present with their mom without the added stress of financial hardship.
