I came to the United States for school as a student before the war began, and my single mother used to help me pay for my tuition and housing, but now that everything has gone wrong and my country is at war, my mother is not working and is staying at home with my other siblings, and because I am an international student, I am unable to work outside campus and earn money to pay my rent, tuition, and buy food. Not only am I suffering mentally, but I am also suffering financially. On the other hand, my family is suffering as well, therefore I’ve come here to seek assistance to rescue myself and my family through this difficult time. What is happening to me right now is horrible, and I would not wish it on anyone; the money I will receive will be used to pay for rent, tuition, and food, as well as assisting my family back home before they starve to death.
