Hello, my name is Michelle Fenton, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing something I can’t manage alone.
Recently, I had a terrible accident. I slipped and fell on a set of wooden stairs, and the impact sent me hard onto the ground. The pain was immediate and intense — I couldn’t move, and every attempt to breathe deeply brought tears to my eyes. I was rushed to the ER, where doctors told me I had a painful fracture on the left side of my ribs. Since then, every breath, even turning in bed, hurts so much. It’s a constant reminder of how quickly life can change.
The emergency room visit, X-rays, medication, and follow-up care have all added up to medical bills I simply cannot afford. My insurance, unfortunately, doesn’t cover the necessary treatments and ongoing care. I’m a part-time college student. Adding unexpected medical costs on top of that has pushed me into a situation I never imagined I’d be in.
That’s why I’m asking for help today.
