Help Me Fight Cancer: Support for Medical & Family Expenses . and I’m a hardworking parent from just outside of Manhattan Before my diagnosis, I was working full-time over 40 hours a week to support my family. I’ve always taken pride in being independent, providing for my children, and staying active in my community. Unfortunately, life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with cancer.
What This Campaign Is About:
I am currently battling cancer, and while I have insurance, it does not cover everything. I’m facing a mountain of unpaid medical bills, including hospital stays, ongoing treatments, tests, and medications. I have get in so much debts I can’t pay for my treatments, at this very moment. On top of that, I need to travel frequently for appointments, which means extra costs like gas, hotel stays, and food away from home. The fight against cancer has taken a toll on my body, and I’ve had to stop working which has greatly affected my income, my kids and my ability to keep up with everyday bills.
Where I’m From:
I live outside of London, and many of my treatments and appointments require travel outside of my village to larger hospitals and cancer centers. These trips are essential, but they come with heavy financial burdens.
