Hello, my name is Leonardo, and I am 14 years old. I never imagined that my life would take such a difficult turn at such a young age. Recently, I was diagnosed with lung cancer, a disease that has shaken me and my family to the core. This diagnosis came as a complete shock to us, especially since I am so young, and lung cancer is not something people expect in someone my age.
Since receiving the diagnosis, I have begun an intensive treatment plan, which includes chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and multiple medical appointments and tests. The journey ahead is long and uncertain, but I am determined to fight with all my strength. Unfortunately, the costs of these treatments are extremely high, and my family is struggling to cover the expenses, which include not only the medical bills but also medications, travel to specialized hospitals, and other necessary treatments. We have explored all options, but the financial burden is overwhelming.
The healthcare system helps, but it does not cover everything, and every day the medical bills continue to accumulate. It is incredibly hard to ask for help, but I find myself in a position where I need the support of kind-hearted people like you to continue my treatment and give me a chance at life.
