- Hi , I am Kris Ballard. In 2018 I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Rectal Cancer and Stage 2 Colon Cancer. After a couple of surgeries and after treatment we thought the cancer was gone. Jump forward to 2025 and while doing a pre-op x-ray for a full hip replacement doctor found a mass in my lung. After doing a CT scan it was found I had a Lung Tumor and also had 2 small tumors on my liver. They consider this Stage 4 cancer. I was on a treatment plan, but soon started to have stoke like feelings. We went to the ER and they found a Brain Tumor. Was rush to Portland to Legacy Hospital and had tumor removed. While at Hospital further scan showed additional tumor on my Adrenal glands and another small tumor in my lung.
We have found a couple of Cancer treatment Center that offer treatment for this type of Cancer that are less toxic than conventional treatments, but Insurance does not cover these types of plans. The money raised will help with these treatment plans, other medical costs, travel and lodging, along with follow-up treatments. Our goal is to walk away after these treatment cancer free. I have learned a lot of thing with my Cancer returning and the wonderful outcomes from these treatments.
