I am reaching out to ask for help during one of the most difficult and frightening times of my life. I am a single mother of two children, and I have recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. While I am trying to stay strong for my children and focus on my treatment and recovery, I am also facing the possibility of becoming homeless. The combination of medical expenses, everyday living costs, and being unable to work or provide financially the way I normally would has left me struggling to keep a safe and stable home for my family.
My children depend on me for everything, and my biggest concern is making sure they have a safe place to sleep, food to eat, and the stability they deserve while I face this illness. I never imagined I would have to ask others for help, and it is incredibly difficult to put my situation into words. However, I have reached a point where I cannot do this alone.
Any assistance, no matter how small, would mean more to us than I can express. Donations would help with housing, utilities, groceries, transportation to medical appointments, and other necessities while I focus on treatment and caring for my children. If you are unable to donate, sharing this request with others would still make a tremendous difference.
I am doing everything I can to keep moving forward and create a safe future for my children. I am asking for help not because I have given up, but because I am trying to make sure my children and I can get through this difficult chapter together. Thank you sincerely for taking the time to read our story, for sharing it, praying for us, or offering any kind of support. Your kindness could give my family the stability and hope we desperately need right now.
