Friends, this is not something I would do unless it was an extreme situation. My son Casey was just in a car accident this Easter morning, and his car is a total loss. He is shook up and hurt, and did get home but he will heal up and be fine physically. Casey, and his fiancée Nikki are expecting their son Jedidiah to be born on July 30th. The two of them were using the car to get to work at San Antonio Airport. The plan is for the family to move back down to Rio Grande Valley in a few weeks to settle in before the baby arrives. This way, they can have the support they need during this difficult time. My husband and I are busy ripping down walls in our home, treating them and hoping to have them back up due to the flood we just had before the baby arrives. This is not a fast process at all! I thank you from the bottom of my heart if you choose to participate in helping Casey and Nikki get into a vehicle and get relocated near family. The reason I am creating this account is because I know how stressful it can be on a family when you are expecting, but losing your car, relocating to a home that is in construction and getting set up to have a baby is going to be hard enough without the worry of how you are going to do it financially. It is going to be a difficult time, but God willing, we will get through it in time to welcome baby Jedidiah into a finished and comfortable home! I would like to make sure that all know these funds are strictly for Casey and Nikki’s expenses to relocate and get a car.
