Hi, my name is Julie, and I’m asking for help for my sister, Robyn, as she faces the fight of her life—again.
This is her second time battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer. What we hoped was behind us has come back, and she is now facing another long and difficult road ahead. She has a dedicated team of oncologists working closely together to determine the best possible treatment plan and give her the strongest chance moving forward.
After consulting with her medical team, we’ve learned that the most effective radiation treatment available for her specific case is at the Mayo Clinic. Unfortunately, Mayo is out of network for her insurance, which means the costs are significantly higher—but it also offers the best hope.
Her treatment will require radiation 5 days a week for 6 weeks, and during that time she will not be able to continue working. Right now, her focus has to be on her health and her family.
We are raising funds to help cover:
Out-of-network treatment costs at Mayo Clinic
Radiation therapy and medical expenses
Travel and lodging during treatment
Lost income while she is unable to work
Everyday living expenses during this difficult time
The financial burden of this level of care is overwhelming, especially on top of everything she is already going through physically and emotionally. We want to give her the chance to focus on healing, not on how to afford the care that could save her life.
Robyn is the kind of person who gives everything to her family and others and would never ask for help herself—which is why I’m stepping in for her now. She’s not only my sister but also my best friend, and it’s incredibly hard not living close to her so that I can support her and her family every day. Robyn is an amazing wife and a loving, devoted mom to her two sons. Her family means everything to her, and they are standing by her side through this difficult journey.
If you are able to donate, we are deeply grateful. If not, we would truly appreciate help in other ways, such as sharing this page or offering support with everyday tasks like errands, yard work, or cleaning—anything to help lighten the load for her and her family during this time.
If you are close with Robyn and her family and would like to help on a more personal level, please feel free to reach out to me directly for additional ways to support them.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers as Robyn begins this fight.
With gratitude,
Julie
