Please consider helping Tammy avoid eviction due to financial hardship and emotional distress.

If you’d like to donate toward her past due rent balance, your help is deeply appreciated. Your generosity will help keep a roof over her head during one of the most difficult seasons of her life.

While Tammy’s immediate need is financial support to keep her home, her most important need is prayer, encouragement, and emotional healing.

Every donation, no matter the amount, message of hope, or prayer makes a difference. Thank you in advance.

Tammy’s Story–

In 2023, my life changed forever. My nephew came to live with me because he was having problems at home. I loved him like one of my own—he and my kids were more like siblings than cousins. But one tragic day, a terrible accident happened in our home. He was shot, and my biological son was the one who accidentally pulled the trigger. That moment shattered our family and broke the bond I once had with my sister, his mother. We used to be inseparable, but after that day, everything changed. My home no longer felt like a home—it became a painful reminder of what we lost.

For two years, I tried to find a new place, hoping a change of scenery would help us heal. When I finally got approved to move, I thought things would get better. But soon after moving in, everything started falling apart—literally. The house had electrical issues, flooding, and mold. When I reached out for help, my landlord ignored me. When I called inspectors to report it, he turned around and filed for eviction.

All of this has taken a toll on me emotionally and financially. I’ve been diagnosed with depression, lost a lot of weight, and had to quit working for a while just to cope. I recently started working again, but it’s been hard to keep up with bills and rent. Now I’m behind and facing eviction, and I don’t know where to turn. I applied for assistance but was denied due to me going back to work.

Still, I believe God will work this out. I know the strong woman I used to be is still in me somewhere. I just need a little help—and a lot of prayer.
