Hello, my name is Curtinka Mitchell, and I’m a cancer patient I was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer on January 13 of this year. I’m currently unemployed, and the funds will help me pay for medication and doctor visits that my insurance won’t cover. It also will help me with transportation back and forth to doctors. I’m currently taking chemotherapy treatment now. It’s hard some days as the chemo has me so weak I don’t want to get out of bed, but I fight and push myself to do things. I’m a strong woman, and I just don’t want to be down I pray every day for health and strength.
