Darrell is an only child and is off work without pay. He is the caregiver for his Dad that has been diagnosed with inoperable glioblastoma which is an aggressive cancerous brain tumor. His Dad is having treatments in Lexington 5 days a week with chemo and radiation and chemo 7 days a week. Darrell is also the breadwinner of his home. I would love to see him not have to go back to work this week and focus on his Dad. He has bills coming in that do not stop and has almost exhausted savings. A little background
His parents and him ran a farm and raised veggies for their entire lives. They sold at farmers market and are a very close family. His parents have been married for 48 years and love each other dearly. His mom does not drive, and we are taking care of many things, and this would be such a load off out back. The need that is urgent is a car payment that is 652.00 at Peoples Bank in Flemingsburg, KY. The due date is the 16th of September. Also 2 insurance payments coming up at Farm Bearu 350.00. Electric and water for August and September. It is hard to reach out and ask for help but would be harder to tell Big Darrell we cant do treatment because we have exhausted funds. Its just not an option. He has to literally fight for his life right now.
