Wonder Woman cake to celebrate end of radiation!
February 28, 2022 Update:

Anna has completed her radiation!!! We drove down to Rochester and celebrated her courage and resilience with a Wonder Woman cake. Her strength and positivity through this long battle have amazed all of us. Her cancer responded well to chemo and radiation-excellent news!! In a couple of months she will have reconstructive surgery and then hopefully put this chapter of her life behind her! Thank you to all of you who have held Anna and her family in your thoughts and prayers. We so appreciate it!!!

Update:

August 8,2021
Anna has completed 2 weeks of chemo! She continues to radiate positivity and is a true fighter. Thank you to all of you who have donated! There is still time to show her support-she has a long road ahead of her and lots of bills to pay! Any level of donation is greatly appreciated!

My dear friend, Anna Myburgh, was just diagnosed with breast cancer that has metastasized to her lymph nodes. She is the picture of perfect health and this diagnosis never could have been expected.

She is a wife and mother of 3 young children. She is a nurse practitioner with a big heart for helping others. She is selfless. Due to her aggressive cancer treatment plan of lengthy chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation she will have to stop working at the end of July for up to a year.

Both Anna and her husband Sarel are immigrants to this country. They have had to spend their hard earned savings over the years to secure their citizenship, all while helping support their families abroad and pay for their education and school loans.

Let’s join up and help her ease the financial burden that comes with cancer treatment. Let’s surround her with support so that she can focus on healing and her sweet family.
