We are raising funds on behalf of a sweet elderly woman in our community who is facing urgent plumbing issues from the cold that have broken pipes under her trailer and she is using gallon jugs of water to flush her toilet and cannot do laundry or bath right now. A broken pipe under her trailer needs immediate repair, and without it she risks not being able to safely remain in the place she loves and has called home for many years.
Living on a fixed income, the cost of repairs is more than she can manage on her own. This unexpected expense has become very overwhelming for her and she needs our help. She is a humble lady and is patient, but the pipes need to be insulated so this will not keep happening. This home is very important to her–it is where she feels safe and independent. Our goal is to help her repair pipes and get them insulated under her trailer, then she can continue living in her home with dignity and peace of mind. She also has a dog, 2 cats. She has a heart of gold.
Sometimes all it takes is a small act of kindness to change someone’s life. This elderly woman has spent her life working at a retirement home , giving to others. please give her some comfort, peace of mind this Holiday season.
