Gunner was born in 2016, a healthy child. He was a joy and a happy little boy until he turned 2 years old. Everything changed for him and his mom’s world was turned upside down. He started having seizures and at first, the doctors thought it was from a fever. As he got older, the seizures became frequent and more severe. Ultimately the doctors decided that he had epilepsy. That turned out false. Later it was determined he had a very rare metabolic disorder called Combined Malonic and Methylmalonic Aciduria. Since I have limited words here, I am going to get to the point of why I feel so strongly to help this little family. Mom is a single mom raising a teenage girl and Gunner. He has gotten so bad lately she can’t work her job even though the company she works for lets her off when needed. She was baking (she is an awesome baker:) for extra money but now Gunner is at the stage where instead of 7 yrs old his brain is the age of an 18-month-old. He can’t chew his food, or swallow food is beginning to be a problem. He needs 24-7 supervision and support. If this breaks your heart like it has mine please give what you can, whether it’s $10.00 or $100.00. Every dollar counts when you are in a position this family is in. This is my neighbor and it is times like this I wish I was rich. But like many of us, we get by but when I see a family struggling like this sweet family it makes me stop and know that I am very blest. Please help me blest this family with the burden of bills being lifted because we care. God is on His Throne, and He has not turned His back on them. He loves Gunner and his sister and mom more than anyone else on earth. Let’s let God use us as His hands to move this mountain.
