Grandma with Stage IV Lung Cancer Needs Help with her Bills…..

Hi, my name is Sara and my mom was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer. While she is receiving treatment and chemotherapy, she will be unable to work. While she’s on short term disability, she will be receiving less than 50% of her salary and while her medical needs with be met with insurance, she will need help paying her every month bills.  We are still waiting for her short term disability to kick in, but in the meantime there are doctor’s visits 2 or 3 times per week and her deductible for specialists is $60 each time. I’m unable to help due to I don’t work and have a 4 month old baby.  My mother has not smoked in over 7 years and this came out of the blue and was a complete shock to the whole family. She had not been diagnosed with anything until the Stage IV diagnosis. We still don’t know how something goes from nothing to stage IV, but GOD must have his plans.  We are trying to keep my mom alive as long as possible. She has 2 grown children who love her very much and she has 2 grandchildren who are her life. She loves her grandchildren more than life itself and wants to be here to watch them grow up, graduate and marry one day. She wants great-grandchildren and if that happens it will be a blessing knowing that we were able to extend her life as long as she can handle it!!!
