Funds For Kristie

Hi, my name is Kristie. I recently found out I have throat cancer.  I have been to a lot of doctor’s appointments.  I am having to go back and forth to Alexandria La from my home in Vidalia, La. I don’t have anywhere to stay when I’m in Alexandria, La. I called the American Cancer Society they have no help in the state of La. Well, I had surgery Thursday 8/24/2023. I had a port and a feeding tube put in me. It’s very painful. If it worsens the doctor will have to put an oxygen tube in me, my face is swollen. I never thought this could happen to me. I turned 56 on 8/27/2023.. I live from month to month. My mother has been helping she is 78 and it’s hard on her. She has her own health problems, and she lives month to month. She has no money for these expenses.  I need a place to stay, I have to take 35 treatments. Monday thru Friday. I can’t sleep in my car it’s too hot and I am going to be in bad shape. I have 1 sister she is 58. She has 2 diseases. I need some help please. My sister will go with me and take care of me if we could get some money for lodging and food, I will be using ensure in my feeding tube, And I don’t know what all I will need. This cancer is new to me and my family. Right now I am doing the best I can. It’s very hard on us and going to get harder. I will be grateful for any help. Thanks
