Spencer Hyatt

My nephew, Spencer, tragically lost his life on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at age 32. He had just celebrated his birthday six days before and a baby shower for his soon-to-be born son just four days before his untimely death. Spencer grew up in Mills River, North Carolina and has been with his partner, Kayla, for several years. He was so excited and was looking forward to holding his new son, expected to be born by June 1, 2024.

Spencer was a much loved partner, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. Family and friends are devastated at the loss of their loved one.  Tragedy has hit our family yet again. As many of you know, Spencer’s passing follows the unexpected loss of his mother, Amy, my sister, this past January 13, 2024. His father John passed May 6, 2019, 8 days following the death of Spencer’s grandmother, my mother.

Spencer, was the primary breadwinner of his household. His sister, Becky, and Kayla, his partner and mother-to-be of his child, need funds for Spencer’s funeral, a grave stone, and their immediate living expenses, such as food, rent, utilities and a form of transportation. We pray for an abundance of donations, so they can pursue educations to advance in their desired careers. These ladies need our help until they can support themselves and Kayla can support her baby boy as a single mom.

Your prayers, support, and donations of any size are greatly appreciated. We selected GiveTaxFree.org to allow your donations to be tax-deductible. Please note there is urgency in this request so funeral arrangements can be made and Kayla’s stress is reduced before the baby arrives.
