Story:
Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
My name is Darius Brown, and I am on a journey of transformation and renewal. Life has tested me in unimaginable ways, but through it all, I have found hope and purpose by giving my life to Christ on December 22, 2024, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
My story is one of resilience and faith. I’ve faced overwhelming challenges:
I survived being shot in the neck and back, and a year later, I was shot again. These events led to a total hip replacement. Despite the physical and emotional pain, I’m still here, standing strong.
In March 2022, my mother passed away from cancer, leaving a hole in my heart.
Just a year later, in March 2023, my brother tragically took the life of his wife, shaking my family to its core.
I was born on March 8, 1988, and for years, it felt like March became a month of loss and heartbreak for me.
These trials left me in a downward spiral of despair, but I knew I couldn’t let my story end there. I decided to come out of my shell and try something different—something life-changing. I gave my life to God, and that decision has sparked a fire within me to rebuild, renew, and walk in faith.

1. Basic Necessities: Providing food, clean water, and safe camping gear as I transition from homelessness to stability.
2. Rebuilding My Career: Helping me pursue my CDL license to restart my trucking career and achieve financial independence.
3. Fixing Up My Home: I currently live in a fixer-upper trailer with no running water or heat. It needs new windows, paint, and repairs to make it livable. My dream is to create a safe and welcoming space where my niece and nephew can visit me—a place we can call home.
4. Spiritual Growth: Supporting my involvement in church activities and building a community rooted in faith and fellowship.

I am determined to turn my pain into a testimony that inspires others to trust in God, persevere through trials, and never give up hope.
