My name is Scott Rosga, and I am currently facing one of the most difficult seasons of my life.
I am battling leukemia while also dealing with serious neck and back issues and a blockage in my heart. Despite these health challenges, I am still working and doing everything I can to remain independent and keep moving forward. I am not looking for a handout or a permanent solution — this is a temporary emergency situation where I simply need help getting through an overwhelming season.
Right now, I am facing foreclosure on my home, with a sale date quickly approaching. Between mounting medical costs, reduced physical ability, and the emotional toll of ongoing health battles, I have fallen behind financially despite continuing to work as much as I am able.
Several years ago, I lost my beloved wife, Aritzia, to metastatic colon cancer. Walking beside her through that journey changed my life forever. Through the pain, heartbreak, and moments of uncertainty, we held onto our faith and learned what it means to keep trusting God in the middle of the storm.
In honor of Aritzia, I am currently writing a book titled “I Want to Go Home: Aritzia’s Wings.” I want to go home were the last words my loving wife spoke to me. I said “you are home, where is home to you?” and she simply replied “with Jesus”. We have three amazing kids who I’m able to see my wife’s influence and guidance in them each and everyday. My hope is that our story will encourage others facing cancer, grief, or other life-altering illnesses — reminding them that even in suffering, they are not alone, and that faith, love, and hope can still shine through the darkest moments.
I truly believe this difficult chapter is temporary, and I am continuing to fight every day to rebuild and move forward. I am humbly asking for help to get through this emergency and prevent losing my home while continuing treatment and medical care.
Donations will help with:
• Mortgage and foreclosure-related expenses
• Medical treatments and health-related costs
• Basic living and transportation expenses during recovery
If you are unable to donate, I completely understand. Sharing this fundraiser and keeping me in your prayers would mean more than words can express. Due to the urgency of my situation, I have also sought donations through other fundraising organizations. As soon as my goal is met, I will remove all of the fundraising sites.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for your kindness, and for standing with me during this difficult season of life.
