A little over a year ago, I experienced a decline in my health. I’ve previously been diagnosed with a couple of autoimmune diseases, and in July of last year, I had such bad flare-ups, I had to go on medical leave from my job as a Labor and Delivery/Postpartum Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I was on unpaid medical leave from November 2024 to January 2025. I then had to leave that job because my body’s threshold of energy continued to dwindle. I got a part-time job as an in-home caregiver, and soon came to realize that too was too much for my body. I had to resign from that job in July of 2025. I’ve been to 3 or 4 specialists to find answers to the ever-growing list of questions. One of the procedures I had to do was a thyroid biopsy to determine if a nodule I had was cancerous. Thankfully, it was not in fact cancerous. Along that timeline, the medical bills have been stacking, along with life expenses like a wedding in March of 2025. I’ve applied to 60+ jobs working remote, and have had maybe 2 interviews, 2 potential scams, and 1 offer to join an MLM. While I continue to apply to different jobs, the medical bills haven’t gone anywhere, so I figured I’d turn to this resource. I have one specific medical procedure I’ve needed to put off because it costs about $630 after insurance. That’s where the money will go first. After that, the money will go towards the rest of my medical bills that have been looming over my head for the past year or so. Anything given is greatly appreciated.
