Do I have an adventure for you! 2024 will be our seventh trip to Zambrano, Honduras. We go to serve the people Spiritually and in practical ways. It’s important to note; All monies raised or donated, go to help the people we go to serve. No monies are used for the mission teams personal expenses, or administrative costs.
Before we go we raise $4500. dollars to buy 7000 pounds of food (rice, beans, lard, tomato paste, sugar and spaghetti). We bag the food into family portions and deliver it to the people that go to the mountain churches surrounding Zambrano.
We visit about 8 villages and distribute the food to approximately 700 people. Some women walk up to six miles to attend the service. The bag of food will feed a family of 4 for a week. Over the last six years we have also paid for and helped lay cement floors in homes and help build new roofs. It cost $500. per floor and per roof.
On our trip for 2023, we gave $500. to put a floor in an elderly man’s house under construction. We donated money to a female Pastor, whose husband had died, and she had no income. We gave money to help build a fence around a new medical facility. The team made a contribution to the local church, “Love Without Boundaries”.
We were able to bless pastor Luis with a donation towards a new refrigerator.
All this was possible due to the generosity of the People of Crossroads, and they were truly blessed.
We’re taking our desire to help the needy, to you the community. “God said “Go into the nations and make disciples”.
