Due to having been placed on Medical Leave/Disability and because of my children’s rigorous school and activity schedule, my former spouse moved out and filed for divorce from me. Leaving me with all of the past due utility bills and responsibilities of our household, including those of our children’s needs. This divorce along with my disability and my employer wrongfully terminating me in October of last year has caused my disability to worsen. I don’t receive any disability benefits as they ran out last June. My friends and family have loaned money to me however, they can no longer continue helping me as this has been a struggle for me since my divorce. I need help to stay afloat and keep my children in their home and neighborhood as they have lived here since they were 7 and 8 years old (they are now 12 and 13 years old) I am struggling to pay the bills like Gas Company, Electric Co., Burrtec Waste, Water, Rent etc. Along with the personal loans I still need to pay back, I have emptied my savings and all of my credit cards have been maxed out and have gone into default.
I have no other option but to ask for help with these much needed bills. As a single mom, who has never had to ask for help before in my entire life, I know there are good, and generous people who may be able to help me with my situation so I can get back on my feet again and help my children live without the worry of us losing our home.
